Privacy policy broken links

October 28, 2016 by vsgloik

A couple of months ago I noticed that the link to Google’s video about cookies was broken.

The “Good to Know” video is still available on the How Google uses cookies page.

You may want to update your Privacy policy page.

This link now gives a 404.

This link displays the How Google uses cookies page. Watch the video.

If you don’t update your privacy policy page you may receive an email from someone called Stephanie suggesting a different link.

Hey Herb,

I was on your page - https://example.com/privacy-policy/, when I noticed that one of the resources you mentioned isn't online. Here is the dead page - https://www.google.co.uk/goodtoknow/data-on-the-web/cookies, 'a look at cookies'.

I found it whilst doing some research for our ultimate guide to cookies which has just been published and might make a good replacement if you are updating the page.

Here's the link - https://wiht.link/cookiesguide.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Best,
Stephanie
